Middlesbrough midfielder Grant Leadbitter has insisted that the team is not getting carried away following their impressive start to the season.
Boro are currently in fifth place in the Championship table, two points adrift of leaders Derby County.
Despite battling away near the top of the standings, Leadbitter believes that Aitor Karanka's side must remain focused in the coming weeks.
"We're doing okay. A couple of points off top is a nice position to be in," he told the club's official website. "We could have had more points on the board if you want to be critical, but we're happy where we are and we'll keep trying to win games.
"I think we are where this club expects to be. We have to get back into the Premier League - but no-one has got to get carried away."
Boro's bid for promotion continues on Saturday when they travel to Rotherham United.
