Blackburn Rovers earned a point from their Championship game with Middlesbrough this afternoon thanks to a number of fine saves from keeper Paul Robinson.
Middlesbrough started brightly, with Muzzy Carayol and Nate Chalobah forcing two good saves from Robinson early on.
The dangerous George Friend then came close when he cut in from the left flank but fired just wide.
Indeed, most of Middlesbrough's play came down the left flank, with Friend and Carayol linking up well during the half.
This continued after the restart, with Robinson producing another great save with his legs to deny Carayol when he got through one on one.
Grant Leadbitter then fired at goal but it was blocked well by the retreating Jason Lowe.
Robinson again kept his side in the game when he tipped over Albert Adomah's 25-yard drive, meaning that his side escaped with a point.
