Championship leaders Middlesbrough have completed the loan signing of Kike Sola from Athletic Bilbao.
The 29-year-old has joined the Teesside outfit on a deal until the end of the season, and Boro boss Aitor Karanka said that he will "bring something different".
"He is a player who can bring something different," Karanka told the club website. "He is strong, he can play as a second striker and as a number 10."
Sola, a former Spain Under-21 international, is available to make his debut against Bristol City tomorrow with Boro five points clear at the top of the Championship.
