Middlesbrough manager Tony Mowbray has set his sights on once again working with Ishmael Miller by bringing the striker to the Riverside, according to Sky Sports News.
Mowbray signed the 23-year-old when in charge of West Bromwich Albion and is said to be keen on linking up with the Englishman again.
Miller only moved to the City Ground from West Brom in a £1m move this summer but has featured only nine times because of injury, scoring three goals.
Reports suggest that Boro's lofty position may be a deal-breaker as Forest are currently experiencing a five-match losing streak.
