Watford have gone into the break with a one-goal lead in their Championship match against Millwall, thanks to Lewis McGugan.
Carlos Edwards fired over from 20 yards for Millwall before Watford's Troy Deeney skewed a half-volley wide of the post.
McGugan then broke the deadlock when he slotted home after being played in by Deeney.
The goal gave Watford confidence and they established a period of dominance.
It was Millwall, however, who spurned a number of chances before the break, with Owen Garvan and Martyn Woolford in particular guilty of fluffing their lines.
