Millwall came from a goal behind to go into half-time with a 2-1 lead over Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.
Wednesday got off to a lively start, keeping Millwall shotstopper Maik Taylor busy with early chances falling to Miguel Llera and Gary Madine.
Dave Jones's side continued to pile on the pressure through Jermaine Johnson, who terrorised the visitors' defence before breaking the deadlock with a screamer on 19 minutes.
Millwall had a chance to get themselves back into the game on 24 minutes when Karleigh Osborne found space deep inside the area, but he couldn't keep his shot down.
The visitors drew level on 35 minutes, when James Henry latched onto a pass from Andy Keogh and found the top-left corner.
Less than 10 minutes later, Wednesday found themselves 2-1 down when Liam Trotter arose in the box unmarked and fired home, laving Jones's men with it all to do in the second half.
