Millwall manager Kenny Jackett has claimed that Chris Taylor's red card in his side's 2-1 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion was harsh.
Taylor was sent off for a 50-50 challenge on Brighton goalkeeper Thomas Kuszczak, a challenge with which Jackett conceded that Taylor may have made contact.
However, Jackett thinks that any contact was minimal, and didn't warrant the second yellow that it received.
"My impression was it was a harsh decision," he said.
"I asked the referee if he did catch him and he said he did, but Chris thought the ball was there to be won and any contact was none or minimal.
"He didn't go through the guy and it didn't warrant a sending-off."
Millwall's next match comes away to Burnley in a week's time.
