Millwall are reportedly poised to appoint former Liverpool defender Markus Babbel as the Championship club's new manager.
The Lions have been searching for a new boss since Kenny Jackett announced his resignation after six years at the helm at The Den.
While Millwall have been patient in their hunt for a new leader, it is understood that Babbel has been chosen by the club to take the outfit forward, according to the Daily Mail.
The 40-year-old German, who spent four seasons at Liverpool, has been out of work since he was sacked by Hoffenheim in December last year.
If appointed, Babbel will have the task of improving on Millwall's 20th position in the table.
