A early Ben Reeves goal helped MK Dons to victory over Championship side Nottingham Forest in a pre-season friendly at Stadium mk this afternoon.
Reeves slotted home just 13 minutes into the first half after an inch-perfect cutback from right-back Lee Hodson. Forest came close to an equaliser not long after as Andy Reid's free-kick skimmed the crossbar on the 18th minute.
Forest started the second half brightly in search for an equaliser but were unable to find it after a couple of fine saves from Dons keeper David Martin.
MK Dons saw out the rest of the match to seal the pre-season win and a victory on Dean Lewington's testimonial.
