A Luke Chadwick goal has given MK Dons the lead against Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup.
Wigan saw an early effort saved when James McClean's shot was beaten out by David Martin, but the home side were soon 1-0 up.
Samir Carruthers moved down the right and crossed to the centre, where Chadwick was waiting to slot the ball home past Ali Al-Habsi.
Despite that setback, Wigan were still very much in the game and Fraser Fyvie forced Martin into a good stop with a powerful shot. Martin was then involved again, tipping the ball away from McClean at the back post.
The away side continued to have the better of the play, but Roger Espinoza fired narrowly over the bar when well placed.
However, it was the home side who almost doubled their advantage. Leon Barnett tripped Shaun Williams and the Dons players curled his free kick over the wall, but Al-Habsi did well to tip it away.
The Wigan goalkeeper saved his side again minutes later, pushing a deflected Dean Lewington shot wide.
