Montreal Impact have been held to a goalless draw at home by FC Dallas in the MLS.
The hosts have missed the chance to go top of the MLS Eastern Conference, despite dominating the majority of the game.
After a series of early free kicks for both sides, it was Montreal who had the game's first real chance when Justin Mapp found space on the edge of the box, but the winger struck his effort against the crossbar.
Daniele Paponi then missed a good chance to put the home side ahead just before the break, firing just wide from the edge of the area.
The second half began like the first, with each team winning free kicks in good positions but failing to make their opponents pay.
Sanna Nyassi had a couple of efforts blocked for Montreal before Mapp again tried his luck from distance, but this time he was thwarted by the goalkeeper.
Montreal pushed hard for a winner as the match wore on, but Jeb Brovsky saw his shot saved, before Andrew Wenger fired well over from just inside the box in the final minutes.
