Napoli forward Gonzalo Higuain has played down talk of a title bid after his side's 2-1 victory over Fiorentina.
The Argentine struck the winning goal for the Partenopei, just moments after Nikola Kalinic had cancelled out an effort from Lorenzo Insigne.
Maurizio Sarri's team have now won their last three Serie A matches and have moved to within three points of leaders Fiorentina in the table, but Higuain has said that it is too early to speculate over who will win the championship at the end of the season.
"It was an important clash for the table and so we could continue the growth process," Higuain told Sky Sport Italia.
"Fiorentina are a great team and in order to win we had to give everything. We did it and now we are happy.
"Scudetto? There's a long way to go, we have to make the most of every opportunity and slowly build on what we have."
Napoli are next in action when they take on Midtjylland in the Europa League on Thursday, before facing Chievo in Serie A next Sunday evening.
