Napoli have given their European hopes a boost with an emphatic 6-3 win over Cagliari at the Stadio San Paolo.

It was 2-0 soon after as Paolo Cannavaro headed in Ezequiel Lavezzi's cross.
Napoli raced into a 3-0 lead after just 30 minutes as the unlucky Davide Astori put through his own net.
The visitors pulled a goal back before the break when Joaquin Larrivey nodded in Daniele Conte's inviting cross.
Lavezzi converted from the penalty spot on 56 minutes before Walter Gargano made it 5-1.
Joaquin Larrivey headed in Cagliari's second with 15 minutes to play, but Christian Maggio scored Napoli's sixth in the 85th minute.
Larrivey grabbed his second of the match for the visitors in injury time, but it was only a consolation.
