Napoli boss Rafael Benitez could be looking to make a January move for Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva, according to a report in the Italian press.
Benitez is looking to add some strength to his midfield as Napoli attempt a title push this season, with the club closely monitoring a number of players, including the likes of Barcelona's Javier Mascherano.
A report by Italian website Calcio Mercato has suggested Benitez could look to make a bid for the Brazilian midfielder, who is currently contracted to the Anfield club until 2017.
Napoli find themselves second in Serie A, with league leaders Roma five points ahead.
