Goals from Stefan de Vrij and Davey Klaassen have put the Netherlands in control against Spain in an international friendly this evening.
The home side took the lead on 13 minutes when De Vrij angled a header into the bottom after a cross from Wesley Sneijder, and it took Oranje just three minutes to double their advantage.
Klaassen made it 2-0 when he converted from close range at the second attempt after an initial save from Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea.
Spain's best chance arrived after the half-hour mark, but Dutch goalkeeper Kenneth Vermeer did well to block Pedro's effort with the Barcelona forward through on goal.
