Arjen Robben has said that he is optimistic about the future of the Netherlands following their 3-2 win over Wales on Friday evening.
The Bayern Munich winger scored twice for the Dutch as they played for the first time since failing to qualify for next summer's European Championship in France.
"You can always make comments and name things that are not going well," he told SBS6.
"In the first half we had control and we played well, but we have to be even sharp, and have a winning mentality. We still conceded two goals, that cannot happen at this level.
"We have started again today with a bit of the old system. We have to work on that, but I have a good feeling about the future."
Robben's brace against Wales took his tally to 30 goals in 88 appearances for the Netherlands.
