New England Revolution have extended their unbeaten run in the MLS to five matches by thrashing Seattle Sounders 5-0 at the Gillette Stadium.
The hosts took the lead in the 14th minute when Teal Bunbury saw his close-range effort saved by Stefan Frei and Patrick Mullins reacted quickest to tap home from the rebound.
New England scored their second of the game just before the half-hour mark through Diego Fagundez, who fired home after the visitors had failed to clear from a corner.
Bunbury further extended the hosts' lead seven minutes later when he slotted home after his initial effort had been saved.
With four minutes of the first half remaining Revolution made it 4-0 as Fagundez chested down Bunbury's cross before placing a low shot past Frei.
Seattle found themselves further behind just a minute after the break when Chad Marshall turned the ball into his own net, with the hosts eventually running out comfortable winners.
