Michael Bradley's second-half strike cancels out Juan Agudelo's opener and earns Toronto a point in their MLS clash against the New England Revolution.

The New England Revolution were held to a 1-1 draw in their MLS clash against Toronto at Gillette Stadium.

New England had the first chance of the match in the third minute, with former Hearts defender Jose Goncalves's long-range effort saved by Chris Konopka.

USA international Michael Bradley then had a chance for Toronto, but his tame shot was easily saved by Bobby Shuttleworth before former Juventus forward Sebastian Giovinco struck the post for the Canadians.

An injury to Jozy Altidore, who was replaced by Englishman Luke Moore in the 21st minute, appeared to disrupt Toronto's play and New England began to assert their dominance.

Charlie Davies's shot was saved before Juan Agudelo narrowly missed the target.

Agudelo did break the deadlock in the 32nd minute, though, netting his third goal of the season after London Woodberry's assist.

Giovinco tried to equalise before half time, but his shot was saved by Shuttleworth.

In the second half, Agudelo almost doubled his side's lead when he directed a header towards the bottom corner, but Konopka managed to palm the ball away from goal.

The visitors equalised in the 53rd miute when Bradley charged through the middle of the Revolution defence before burying a low strike past Shuttleworth into the bottom corner.

Both keepers then made fine stops to keep the scores level as Konopka blocked a strike from Agudelo, while Shuttleworth produced a good diving save to deny Bradley.

New England pressed late in the game to try to steal a winner as Lee Nguyen drilled a strike towards the net which was well saved by Konopka. Diego Fagundez followed up on the rebound, but he could only direct his header over the bar.

The home side had one late chance to take the three points as Fagundez latched onto a cross inside the six-yard box, but he could not find the net as he poked his effort wide of the post.
