Newcastle United manager Rafael Benitez has reportedly set his sights on signing five more players this summer.
The Spaniard has overseen an immediate return to the Premier League following the club's relegation in 2016, winning promotion from the Championship as champions.
However, he is unhappy with the lack of progress being made in the transfer window and appears to be at loggerheads with Magpies owner Mike Ashley regarding the club's budget to bring in new recruits.
According to The Telegraph, Benitez has earmarked bringing in reinforcements at left-back, centre-back, attack and in goal, with deals for Legia Warsaw defender Michal Pazdan, Stoke City forward Joselu and versatile Chelsea youngster Kenedy in the pipeline.
Newcastle fell to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur in their first game of the new season, with Paul Dummett and Florian Lejeune suffering injuries in the process.
