Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Kenny Jackett has dismissed speculation linking the club with Northampton Town striker Ivan Toney.
The 18-year-old has scored six goals in 22 appearances for the League Two side so far this season.
Northampton recently revealed that a Championship club had failed with a bid to sign Toney, but Jackett has distanced himself from the teenage forward.
"He's not one where we're close to, made any bids for or attempted to take on loan," he told the Wolverhampton Express & Star.
Wolves continue their Championship campaign on Saturday when they make the trip to Brentford.
