Norwich City manager Alex Neil has suggested that his side were impressive in their 3-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion this evening.
The Canaries knocked the Baggies out of the League Cup thanks to second-half goals from Matt Jarvis, Kyle Lafferty and a Sebastien Pocognoli own goal, and Neil believes that his team were rewarded for their patient play.
Speaking to club reporters after the match, Neil said: "We showed composure on the ball tonight. You've got to be patient, and we got rewarded for that.
"I've got so many players who are more than capable of playing in this team, that's a good problem for me."
After the game, Norwich drew Everton for the next round of the League Cup, and Neil believes that the fixture will be a good challenge for his side.
"If you want to go anywhere in these competitions, you have to beat these types of teams," Neil added.
Norwich will take on West Ham United in the Premier League on Saturday.
