Norwich City boss Neil Adams has revealed that he is delighted to be top of the Championship following his side's 3-1 win over Blackpool.
The Canaries leapfrogged Nottingham Forest at the top as goals from Lewis Grabban, Josh Murphy along with an own goal from Donervon Daniels secured the three points at Bloomfield Road.
Adams told Sky Sports News: "There's a long way to go but it is of course very nice to be top of the table. I want to be top - it's nice to have a weekend where we can enjoy being top.
"There's lots of good teams in this division and it's a great sign that we've made a good start. It was exactly what we needed. We've had to come from behind in games this season. We had a solid first half and then stepped it up in the second half.
"We didn't panic, we stuck to what we had to do. It wasn't a classic like Cardiff and Brentford, but it was workmanlike."
Norwich face Charlton Athletic in their next outing in the Championship on Tuesday.
