Ryan Bennett has expressed his desire to secure a regular place in the Norwich City starting lineup.
The 22-year-old has by and large had to settle for a place among the substitutes following his performance during the opening day of the Premier League season against Fulham.
However, he received a number of plaudits for his display during the 1-1 draw with Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon.
Discussing his appearance on Merseyside, the defender is hoping that it is a sign of things to come.
"It was very nice to be back. It's been a long time," he said. "It was nice to get a chance and we got a good result and I thought it was a good performance.
"I hope I can get an extended run now. That's what everyone wants and I'm no different so hopefully I can continue to play and continue to do well."
Bennett joined the Canaries from Peterborough United in January of this year.
