Leroy Fer has backed his Norwich City teammate Ricky van Wolfswinkel to contribute more goals to the team.
The Dutch striker, who cost £8.5m from Sporting Lisbon during the summer, has not scored for the Canaries since the opening day of the season.
However, Fer has insisted that his compatriot will show his quality in the near future.
"Of course the goals will come. He is a really good striker. There is a little bit of luck involved but I know in the future he will score goals for us," the Eastern Daily Press quotes the midfielder as saying.
"Everybody knows Ricky is a striker who has scored a lot of goals in his career and he is still doing the same things and in the future his goals will come."
Van Wolfswinkel has made 18 appearances in all competitions this term.
