Norwich City manager Alex Neil has suggested that his side were fully deserving of a point after their 1-1 draw against Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.
The Canaries went behind to a Danny Ings goal in the second half, but found an equaliser through Russell Martin on 61 minutes, and Neil believes that his side were a threat to Liverpool throughout the game.
Speaking to Sky Sports News after the match, Neil said: "I thought we played really well. I think a lot of teams come [to Anfield] and maybe sit in, I don't think that was the case for us.
"I think there were spells where Liverpool dominated the ball, and we had to sit in and be tight, but I thought we offered a real threat going forward as well.
"I thought the lads worked ever so hard and deserved something out of the match."
Norwich will take on West Bromwich Albion in the League Cup on Wednesday evening.
