Norwich City boss Alex Neil has claimed that his side's 2-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers is the best performance that he has seen during his time at the club.
The Canaries moved into the playoff places in the Championship on Saturday as they saw off their promotion rivals at Carrow Road.
Neil believes that a blend of defensive and attacking prowess was behind his side's vital victory.
"Looking at the match overall that's probably the best 90 minutes I have seen from the lads," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
"There was a really good balance between defence and attack out there. We looked good going forward and created chances while at the other end we defended well and got the clean sheet.
"They worked their socks off today and got what they deserved. If this group of players do that then, with the quality they have got they will generally get their reward."
Norwich return to action next Saturday when they face Watford at Vicarage Road in the league.
