Norwich City have promoted academy manager Ricky Martin to the role of technical director as part of their new management structure.
Martin leaves his academy position after 10 years in charge of the Canaries' youth.
Norwich's new management structure sees Martin join manager Neil Adams, chief executive David McNally and chief scout Barry Simmonds, who has joined from Fulham, on the football executive board.
"We will be working very closely together on the football executive board to achieve our objective of getting Norwich back to the Premier League," McNally told the club website.
"Ricky fully deserves his promotion to the key role of technical director and Barry brings invaluable experience in the field of scouting and recruitment into the mix."
Norwich are back in the Championship after three seasons in the Premier League.
