Chris Hughton has paid tribute to his "excellent" Norwich City team following their 2-0 win over Sunderland at Carrow Road in the Premier League today.
First-half strikes from Robert Snodgrass and Alexander Tettey helped the Canaries to victory in a game in which Marcos Alonso was dismissed for the visitors.
As a result, Hughton's men move seven points clear of the relegation zone, and the 55-year-old wants his side to improve their away form in a bid to strengthen their survival bid.
"From start to finish we were excellent," the manager told reporters.
"It is difficult when you have such a good first half to sustain that performance but it's another clean sheet here and we have been good at Carrow Road. We now have to take what we have done here away from home.
"We could've had more goals and with the manner of this win, if it doesn't give us confidence then nothing will. We were not good enough last week but today has been a good day for us."
Norwich travel to South Wales for a clash with Swansea City next Saturday.
