Norwich City midfielder Ben Godfrey has emerged as a transfer target for a number of Premier League clubs, according to reports.
The 19-year-old has impressed this season while on loan with League One side Shrewsbury Town.
Godfrey has made 16 league appearances for Paul Hurst's surprise high-flyers, currently four points behind leaders Wigan Athletic in second place.
According to the Daily Mail, West Bromwich Albion and Crystal Palace have both watched Godfrey extensively this season and are now weighing up January moves.
The report goes on to claim that Swansea City have also sent scouts to watch the teenager this season.
In addition, England Under-20 manager Paul Simpson is understood to be considering handing Godfrey an international call-up.
Godfrey signed a new four-year contract with Norwich in August, taking him through to 2021.
