Norwich City have reportedly identified Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland as a potential January signing.
Despite having been part of the England setup in recent years, no club from the Premier League have been prepared to spend in the region of £25m on the stopper since Stoke's relegation last summer.
While the 26-year-old came in for criticism after two errors against Preston North End earlier this month, it is unclear whether Stoke are prepared to lower their valuation of the player.
Should they do so at the beginning of 2020, The Sun claims that Norwich may be interested in paying up to £15m for Butland.
Tim Krul and Ralf Fahrmann are currently fighting for the number one jersey at Carrow Road, although the latter is only on loan from Schalke 04.
Less than two years remain on his contract at the bet365 Stadium, leaving Stoke in a position where they may have to consider cashing in on arguably their most prized asset.
