Norwich City have announced that they have secured the signature of full-back Javier Garrido on a permanent contract.
The 28-year-old has been at Carrow Road this season on a loan basis but will become a fully-fledged member of the squad from July 1.
"I'm so happy to have signed full-time for Norwich City," Garrido told the club's official website. "I am very comfortable with everything here - with the players, the technical staff and of course the fans. I am just very happy that we have managed to remain in the Premier League where we belong."
Manager Chris Hughton added: "I'm delighted to have secured the services of Javi on a permanent basis. He has played 34 games for us this season and the fact that we've signed him is a testament to the contribution he has made to the team since joining us last summer."
Garrido has agreed to put pen to paper on a two-year contract and will join Norwich from Lazio on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee.
