Defender Alan Hutton has reportedly emerged as a summer transfer target for Nottingham Forest.
Hutton has spent the last seven seasons with Aston Villa, but the full-back is out of contract this summer and there are doubts over whether the West Midlands outfit are able to keep the player at the club.
Villa could potentially offer the Scotland international a new deal with a wage cut due to the club's financial situation, but it appears that competition could arrive from Forest.
According to the Nottingham Post, Forest are prepared to offer the 33-year-old a two-year contract as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of next season.
Hutton has previously spent time at the City Ground, with Villa loaning the player to Forest during the 2012-13 campaign.
