Nottingham Forest are interested in signing FC Utrecht striker Jacob Mulenga, according to reports.
Zulenga has been targeted by a number of clubs in England and Spain after netting 14 goals in the Eredivisie last season.
According to Sky Sports News, Forest have made an attempt to gain an advantage over their rivals by making a bid for the 29-year-old.
The Dutch side are unlikely to be open to selling the Zambia international, but that could change should they receive a suitable offer.
