Nottingham Forest have signed Nice defender Kevin Gomis on loan until the end of the season, the club has confirmed.
The move is subject to international clearance but the 25-year-old is likely to be available to Forest manager Billy Davies over the next few days.
Gomis has made nine appearances for Nice this season, with his most recent outing coming in the 3-1 loss to Montpellier last Saturday.
The former Naval defender is joined at the club by Danny Fox, who completed a loan move from Southampton on Thursday.
Forest face Watford at the City Ground on Thursday night.
