Paddy Kenny could reportedly join Oldham Athletic over the coming days.
The 36-year-old has been without a club since he was released by Championship side Leeds United last week.
However, he has been offered a route back into the game by Oldham and, despite harbouring initial reservations at dropping down into the third tier of English football, the goalkeeper is now interested in signing on at Boundary Park, according to The People.
Prior to Leeds, former Republic of Ireland international Kenny kept goal for Bury, Sheffield United and Queens Park Rangers.
