Olympiacos forward Rafik Djebbour has emerged as a reported target for Newcastle United.
The Algerian international, 29, sprang to the attention of a host of European clubs last season by scoring 20 goals in 24 appearances in Greece's Superleague.
Newcastle are unlikely to be put off by Djebbour's £2.25m valuation but, according to The Sun, the Magpies will only move for the player if they fail in their attempts to sign Aston Villa's Darren Bent.
Djebbour was understood to be on the verge of joining Nottingham Forest earlier this month, but the proposed move broke down due to problems arranging a medical.
