Osasuna secure safety in La Liga with a 2-1 win over Sevilla.

Osasuna will be playing Primera Liga football next year as their 2-1 win over Sevilla secured their status for another year.

The first half remained goalless with the home side having the better of the play.

However, Sevilla took the lead at the start of the second period when Jesús Navas broke quickly and played in the prolific Álvaro Negredo, who scored from close range.

Osasuna continued to press and got their reward as Francisco Punal found the top corner from outside the box.

Álvaro Cejudo sent the home fans wild with a free kick that found the bottom corner of the net to confirm their Primera Liga safety.
