Parma and Genoa have played out a goalless draw with each other in Serie A.
It was a physical start to the game, with fouls from both teams inside the opening 10 minutes, while neither were able to keep possession.
The visitors saw the better of the early chances, Juraj Kucka putting a shot wide before Andrea Bortolacci headed the ball straight to Nicola Pavarini in the Parma goal.
The hosts soon found their way into the match, Amauri and Jaime Valdes both looking dangerous for Parma but were unable to break the deadlock.
Parma had the majority of the chances after the break, but a series of blocks from the Genoa back four and some good saves from Sebastien Frey ensured that the ball stayed out of the net.
The draw means that Parma miss the chance to move above Udinese, while Genoa have given themselves a two-point cushion in their fight against relegation.
