Sampdoria have made it two consecutive wins in Serie A by beating basement club Parma 2-0 this afternoon.
Eder fired a free kick just wide of the post at the end of a first half with very few chances for either side.
The Brazilian was involved again nine minutes after the break as he got to the byline and pulled the ball across the box for Gonzalo Bergessio to tap in from close range.
Roberto Soriano doubled Sampdoria's lead in the 70th minute when he reacted quickly to slot home after Bergessio had hit the woodwork.
Parma rarely threatened to pull a goal back, as Sampdoria saw out the rest of the match to claim the points and move up to fourth place in Serie A.
