A last-minute goal from Archie Thompson has given Melbourne Victory a win over Perth Glory in the A-League.
The home side had the majority of the early chances, as Sidnei Sciola and Jack Clisby had efforts at the Melbourne goal, but both saw their attempts drift wide.
Guilherme Finkler had a good chance to put the visitors ahead in the 25th minute, but his curling free kick just missed the near post.
Perth were able to edge ahead two minutes later when Michael Thwaite tapped the ball in for the home side.
Tomas Rogic almost got Victory back on level terms straight away, but a good save from Jack Duncan denied the striker.
However, the visitors were able to equalise shortly before half time when James Troisi was tripped in the penalty area, giving Melbourne a spot kick, which was converted by Mark Milligan.
Thompson had an opportunity to give Melbourne the lead shortly after the restart, but his header from an Adama Traore cross went just high.
The visitors continued to press, with Troisi having another couple of attempts, but one went side, while another was tipped behind by Duncan.
Leigh Broxham had a chance to add a late winner for Melbourne following a quick break, but his effort was always going high.
However, the visitors' dominance in the second half paid off when Troisi threaded the ball through for Thompson in the 90th minute, and he was able to thump it past Duncan to seal all three points for Melbourne.
