Philadelphia Union have boosted their hopes of reaching the MLS Playoffs courtesy of a 2-1 victory over Montreal Impact at PPL Park.
Sebastien Le Toux gave Philadelphia the lead in the 12th minute when he made the most of a mistake at the back to round the keeper and slot into an unguarded net.
Le Toux doubled the home side's lead just past the hour mark with a low finish past Troy Perkins from just inside the box.
The visitors pulled a goal back late on through Maxim Tissot's drive into the bottom corner, but they could not find an equaliser and remain rooted to the bottom of the Eastern Confernece.
