Philadelphia Union were denied victory against Chicago Fire after Juan Anangono's late strike meant they had to settle for a draw against their MLS Eastern Conference rivals.
The hosts had taken the lead after 16 minutes when Mike Magee slotted home Quincy Amarikwa's cross.
However, the Union were back on terms just after the half-hour mark when the ball broke to Maurice Edu in the penalty area and his shot proved too much for Sean Johnson.
Philadelphia then edged in front six minutes before the interval thanks to a Leonardo Fernandes free kick, which evaded everyone in the penalty area before bouncing past a helpless Johnson.
Chicago seemed set for defeat, but were saved when Anangono netted in the 86th minute.
The result keeps Union in touch with the Eastern Conference leading pack for the time being, with a number of their nearest rivals playing later on Saturday.
