Plymouth Argyle were unable to make the most of a numerical advantage as 10-man York City held them to a goalless draw at Bootham Crescent.
The hosts were reduced to 10 men before the half-hour mark when Stephane Zubar was given his marching orders for fighting, after Reuben Reid had gone close for Plymouth.
Luke Summerfield nearly notched for York on 29 minutes, before Lee Cox fired an effort wide for the visitors moments later.
Jake Hyde had a good chance to give York the lead on the cusp of half time, but his strike was well saved.
Hyde then had a couple of quickfire efforts around the hour mark before Summerfield was again denied on 70 minutes.
The visitors were next to be thwarted as Jason Banton's attempt was saved moments after Oliver Norburn fired over the bar in a 0-0 League Two stalemate.
