Sports Mole looks at how the squads of Portugal and Switzerland compare ahead of Tuesday's World Cup clash between the two sides.
Sports Mole

Vying for a place in the last eight, Portugal and Switzerland resume their 2022 FIFA World Cup campaigns with a meeting at the Lusail Iconic Stadium on Tuesday.

Having both fallen at this stage in the last edition of football's biggest competition four years ago, the sides will be keen to go one better this time around.

Fernando Santos's men suffered a 2-1 defeat in their last group fixture against South Korea last time out, but they finished top of Group H nonetheless.

Murat Yakin's men, meanwhile, saw off the threat of Serbia in a thrilling 3-2 victory to qualify as runners-up in Group G, missing out on top spot only on goal difference.

Here Sports Mole looks at how the squads of Portugal and Switzerland weigh up against each other ahead of Tuesday's contest.
