Preston North End fans leave tributes to Sir Tom Finney

Preston North End fans leave tributes outside Deepdale following the death of former striker Sir Tom Finney.

Preston North End fans have laid flowers, scarves and shirts and left messages of condolence outside Deepdale following the death of club legend Sir Tom Finney.

The 91-year-old former striker, who scored 210 goals in a 14-year spell with the club, passed away yesterday.

Ahead of this afternoon's League One meeting with Leyton Orient, the team posted pictures of the tributes on their Twitter page:

There will be a one-minute silence ahead of the 3pm kickoff, while Preston's players will wear black armbands.
