Preston North End trio Jamie Jones, Nick Anderton and Ben Davies have all been sent out on loan to lower-league sides.
Goalkeeper Jones has joined League One side Colchester United on a three-month deal and could make his debut tomorrow against Chesterfield.
Anderton was already at Aldershot Town but has extended his stay with the National League side until October 7 after making four recent starts for the Shots.
Like Anderton, Davies is a defender and has moved to Southport Town on a month-long deal until October 12.
