Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti has moved to calm the excitement surrounding his side's Champions League campaign.
The French club are in the competition for the first time since they were taken over by wealthy owners from the Middle East.
Those owners have managed to secure the services of players such Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Thiago Silva and Javier Pastore. As a result, much is expected of the Parisians over the coming months.
However, Ancelotti has insisted that he will be taking things one match at a time.
"I don't think we can say today that PSG is the favourite. I think we can say that PSG has a lot of ambition and wants to do well in the biggest competition in Europe," the former Chelsea and AC Milan boss.
"We have players with experience and we have a coach who has a lot of experience. It's difficult to say what PSG can do in the Champions League. We will learn match by match."
PSG will get their campaign underway against Dynamo Kiev tomorrow night.
