Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain hold a comfortable 1-0 lead at half time in this evening's game against Valenciennes.
Ezequiel Lavezzi gave the hosts the lead midway through the first half, reacting quickest after a deflected free kick.
The home side dominated the early exchanges, winning a series of corners as their opponents failed to get any meaningful touches.
Lavezzi was the biggest threat for the home side and it was the Argentine who won a free kick on the edge of the box 18 minutes in. Zlatan Ibrahimovic's effort deflected off the wall and Lavezzi collected the ball and fired in before paying tribute to his uncle, who recently died.
PSG continued to dominate and thought they had added a second just before the break, but Ibrahimovic was penalised for excessive pushing before he had put the ball in the net.
Valenciennes have it all to do in the second half, while PSG will be hoping to turn their dominance into goals.
