Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic insists that the club can cope with the pressure of being league champions this season.

Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has insisted that the French outfit will thrive under the pressure of being league champions this season.

The capital side have struggled in the early stages of their league campaign, but did pick up three points in a 2-1 win over Nantes on Sunday.

"This win is a real boost. We played better than in our last game. We came here looking for the three points we needed. The season is still very long," the Swede told the club's official website.

"We are the champions and everyone wants to beat us. But we love this pressure of being favourites."

Ibrahimovic joined PSG from AC Milan last summer.
