Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo reportedly held a meeting with Thomas Tuchel and Kylian Mbappe on Sunday night in a bid to mend the relationship between the two individuals.
The pair clashed on Saturday when PSG's manager replaced the France international in the 68th minute of the clash against Montpellier with the French champions leading 5-0.
Mbappe had scored once and provided an assist in the Ligue 1 match to make it 22 goals and 13 assists in 25 appearances in all competitions during the 2019-20 campaign.
The 21-year-old was visibly unhappy at being replaced, though, and engaged in an awkward exchange with his manager after leaving the field.
According to Le Parisien, Mbappe, Tuchel and Leonardo met for talks on Sunday evening, although the relationship between the two individuals could allegedly be beyond repair.
The report claims that Mbappe feels he is replaced too often despite the fact that the 2018 World Cup winner has completed the full 90 minutes in seven of PSG's last eight league matches.
Real Madrid are thought to be long-term admirers of the attacker and could attempt to sign him in this summer's transfer window.
